Publish your donations on Facebook

Here's some news from JustGiving, the site IRT uses to raise money on-line!

When you make a donation on a fundraising page, you can now log in to Facebook and publish your donation details to your Facebook wall and newsfeeds. This means friends can see your donations and get inspired to do the same, as well as helping the spread of fundraising stories, so people reach their targets quicker!

Once logged in to Facebook, you’ll see the option to post a little note on your wall and your friends’ newsfeeds, letting them know that you’ve made a donation to a friend’s page and the charity they’ve supported, raising the profile of the charity and a fundraiser’s appeal.

For IRT this means that people who donate to us via our own IRT JustGiving site and are on Facebook can publish their donation for their Facebook friends to see. This will help raise the IRT profile and hopefully create more awareness for the countries we're supporting!
