International Refugee Trust has several spaces for the London 10K 2010!! We looking for enthusiastic runners to help raise urgently needed money for our projects.
About the race
2010 marks the tenth anniversary of the ASICS British 10K London Run. Over the years the race has played host to some of the world's greatest athletes and raised millions of pounds for hundreds of good causes through the efforts of runners from all walks of life.
The race runs through the heart of London, passing great historical sights.
Each year the race has been a sell out event, therefore we are pleased that we have several places reserved for our runners this year!
Fundraising
If you run the London 10K for IRT, your entry will be free (if you enter as an individual you will need to pay a participants free). Once you have signed up, we will provide you with a Sponsorship Form and more detailed information about IRT's projects. This way, when you're asking friends and family to sponsor you, you can give them detailed information on where their money will be going.
Where will the money go?
IRT is launching several new projects this year. These include a new hospital and training for nurses in southern Sudan, skills training in Columbia and potentially an internet café in northern Uganda for HIV/AIDS affected youth.
The sponsorship money you raise will go towards any of our projects, where the money is needed most. We frequently up date our project pages, so your sponsors can view in detail where our latest donation has gone.
