Uganda

We are poised to make a meaningful impact in Uganda through its proposed projects, with a particular focus on the Step-Up Project and Child Reunification initiatives. In collaboration with the local NGO, Organisation for Community Action (OCA), we are successfully implementing the Step-Up Project in Lira. The Step-Up Project, encompassing agricultural programmes, education, healthcare, and livelihood support, has demonstrated its effectiveness in enhancing the well-being of vulnerable populations.

Additionally, we committed to addressing the critical issue of child reunification in Uganda. This initiative aims to reunite separated children with their families, recognising the importance of a stable family environment for a child’s well-being and development.   In alignment with our vision for transformative change in Uganda, we recognise that the reunification of children with their families is a cornerstone of community resilience and empowerment.

By weaving together collaborative efforts and a commitment to sustainability, our proposed work embraces a holistic approach. This approach intertwines community support and reuniting children with their families, fostering not only the physical well-being of individuals but also the strength and empowerment of the entire community served. Through these integrated efforts, IRT aims to contribute to a sustainable and positive transformation in the lives of the communities we support in Uganda.
