IRT does not directly implement the projects it supports. Instead we work with reliable partners overseas. Our partners are carefully selected to work in cooperation with local governments and adhere to regular reporting and full financial accountability. We do not support projects in the United Kingdom, member countries of the European Union, or from countries in the 'Very high' category on the Human Development Index (HDI). Current partners include locally registered organisations such as the Comboni Samaritans of Gulu, the Comboni Missionary Sisters, the Obaya Community Association and the Jesuit Refugee Service.

The Comboni Samaritans of Gulu, one of our partners in Uganda, have achieved considerable success and two years ago won second prize in a Ugandan government voluntary sector awards programme for best practice and financial transparency.

IRT is currently closed to funding applications from new partners until further notice.
