The Italian Hospital - Amman, Jordan

Iraqi refugees continue to cross into Jordan. Palestinian refugees have been there for years. The Italian Hospital treats these desperate people, funded by IRT.

IRT has been supporting the hospital since 1998. We have purchased various vital items of equipment used in the treament of babies and have provided the funds for the building and equipping of two new operating theatres. In the last year, and particularly since the war in Iraq, IRT's funds have gone to pay for refugee patient care costs.
