| Adrian Hatch, IRT's Chief Executive, has worked for the past 22 years within the voluntary sector field of international development. Adrian first went to the Sudan in 1986, as an Engineer with Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO), to establish water supplies and maintenance programmes in the Eritrean and Tigrenean refugee camps in North Eastern Sudan. He spent the next 11 years based in Sudan, Kenya and Uganda working on a variety of development projects in collaboration with the International Labour Organisation, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and InterAid International. He has been the Chief Executive of International Refugee Trust since September 2006 and before that he was also Chief Executive of another British international development organisation for six years. | ||
